Bar Cañete

Located in the neighbourhood of El Rabal, this restaurant, which offers typical Spanish dishes, is a classic of fine cooking and select wines. Even though one of its star dishes is “cochinillo” (suckling pig),  other delicacies include fresh fish and seafood from the Catalan wharf and seasonable vegetables that pair nicely with our Montecillo Limited Edition, our most contemporary wine with sweet undertones that is both powerful and fresh at the same time.
This restaurant, defined as “fine tapas”, blends tradition and innovation and has become a place visited by celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, a true friend of Cañete.

An old school winery, adapted to new technologies blending tradition and innovation in a 12-hour open kitchen. The perfect place to enjoy traditional Catalan dishes like Trinxat de la Cerdanya with fried egg paired with a classical wine with a renovated touch, Montecillo Crianza, the vibrant and fresh expression of the local grapes of Rioja.

This originally Asturian restaurant has achieved a unique cuisine, blending traditional Catalan dishes with Asturian touches, where the quality of the raw material is the key of its success. This passion of fine eating is reflected in culinary pleasures such as Grilled aged beef entrecôte served with edible coals and Venere rice with mini-vegetables and emulsion of avocado and coriander.
This unique cuisine can maridate with 30 wine references by glass and a winery that offers more than 150 references like Montecillo Gran Reserva, strongly scented with ripe fruit, complex and elegant with fine tannins.
