Concerts

Bodegas Montecillo will celebrate this summer the second edition of the Montecillo Summer Soirée, a series of concerts that promises to be one of Rioja's benchmark events for lovers of music and good wine.

This year, as a new feature, a guided tour of the winery will be included before each concert, offering attendees a complete and immersive experience.

This second edition will offer three key dates: June 29, July 27 and August 17.

Starting at 7 pm, Bodegas Montecillo will open its doors to all those who want to enjoy the musical atmosphere of the gardens at the Navarrete headquarters, located in the Lentiscares Industrial Estate.

The participating groups are:

  • Lowe (June 29): group from Bilbao formed by Rober Crespo (acoustic guitar and vocals), Óscar Cobos (guitar and vocals) and Álvaro Bazán (keyboards and vocals). Founded in 2002, they are specialists in the golden decade of Spanish music: the 80s, covering artists such as Los Secretos, La Guardia, Dhuncan Dhu or Miguel Ríos.
  • Celsius (July 27): The Riojan band Fahrenheit, with more than 10 years of experience on stage and one album released, is formed by Alfredo Sáenz (guitar and vocals), Eder Duro (bass and vocals) and Diego Borrego (drums and vocals). Their most punk facet is Celsius, a side project where they cover national pop and rock from the 90s.
  • Arrumako (August 17): the band from Logroño that mixes rumba and flamenco with different styles such as jazz and pop repeats in the evening at Bodegas Montecillo, after having offered one of the best concerts of last year. Capable of making even the most arrhythmic dance with versions of classics and their own songs.

The price of the tickets is 25€, which includes a guided tour, access to the concert and two tastings at the bar of the winery. In addition, all those who wish to have dinner will be able to do so thanks to the foodtruck of The Roast Cook, which repeats participation. Minors will have free access to the winery.
