A vintage marked by a very rapid growth cycle, with hardly any rainfall and high temperatures from May through August. It gave optimum health conditions during the ripening period. The harvest started early and continued for 88 days.
Alhama River valley
Located in the Alhama River valley, specifically in the Cora Canyon, at 590 meters altitude, the vineyard was planted in 2014. It has a gradient of less than 3% and is NNW-SSE facing. Alluvial soil with sandy deposits. Deep, porous soil.

Notes of vanilla and smoky wood spice with white fruit and nectarine. Fresh and medium-bodied with bright acidity balancing the wood flavors. Medium-long finish with plenty of hints of white chocolate and vanilla. Vegan. Drink in 2024.

Montecillo Garnacha Blanca was made using skin maceration and gentle pressing.
The free-run must fermented in unlined concrete vats and remained on its lees for 5 months.
It was then moved to lightly toasted new French oak bocoys, where it evolved for over 7 months in contact with its lees, with battonage every two days.
After bottling, the wine rests for six months in the winery's underground cellars.

Elegant nose, full of different nuances. Baked apple, mineral notes mixed with acacia flowers and a very attractive and enjoyable background of vanilla and toasted bread.
Broad and richly textured on the palate with clear varietal character. Ripe white fruit takes a starring role once again, enveloped in subtle, spiced oak. Very expressive natural acidity that combines with the glycerin in the mouth to leave an extremely seductive silky texture on the finish.
